대작 뮤지컬 ‘천수천안(Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed)’은 중국 장애인예술단의 유명한 음악과 무용 공연인 ‘나의 꿈(My Dream)’과 둔황 벽화의 요소를 결합해 춤과 음악, 멀티미디어 전시를 통해 민속 이야기를 들려준다.
고대 실크로드를 따라 유명한 둔황시의 역사와 문화를 반영한 4개의 문화 연극 ‘둔황의 고대 소리(Ancient Sound of Dunhuang)’ ‘앙코르 둔황(Encore Dunhuang)’ ‘둔황 화려한 행사(Dunhuang Splendid Ceremony)’와 ‘천수천안(Thousand-Armed, Thousand-Eyed)’가 상연된다.
공연은 둔황의 역사, 의복·음악·무용 문화를 통합하고 있다.
올해 들어 8월 10일까지, 4편의 연극이 1,175회 공연돼 국내외에서 66만명 이상의 관광객을 유치했다.
